Care, Cleaning and Storage
A great tip for keeping your silver and gold shiny is to keep your pieces, along with a piece of white cardboard chalk, in their Alana Leigh pouches when you are not wearing them. The chalk will absorb any moisture, which is what tends to oxidize your metals.
Use a light polishing cloth on your sterling pieces. It is okay to polish right over your stones and pearls. Do not use a polishing cloth on your gold pieces.
Each of Alana's 24k gold pieces is coated in four heavy dips of gold over sterling silver. The chalk alone in the pouch should be enough.
